Sustainability Expo & World Meeting by Magyar Posta

In honor of the Planet Budapest 2021 Sustainable Expo and World Meeting held in Budapest, Magyar Posta has issued a commemorative stamp set. Designed by Demján Szilárd, a graphic designer at Unger and Partners, it was printed in 20,000 copies by ANY Biztonsági Nyomda Nyrt. Available from November 8, 2021, it can be purchased at Filaposta, philatelic services, selected post offices, and www.posta.hu. The Planet Budapest 2021 event aims to raise awareness, especially among youth, about unfavorable environmental, social, and economic processes, and to showcase how these negative trends can still be reversed. Held from November 29 to December 5, it features numerous professional exhibits from Visegrád countries, demonstrating technological advancements, innovative products, and services that support sustainable development. The event revolves around four thematic groups: the Universe of Sustainability – World Meeting; Development in Harmony with Nature – Sustainable Expo; Your Planet – Public programs about sustainability; and Heroes of the Future – Youth experience programs. The stamp's design features Budapest's iconic Országház, the second-largest parliamentary building in Europe and third-largest in the world. The stamp, envelope, and cancellation mark reflect the event's visual identity.
