The SNx5DP159 is a dual-mode DisplayPort to TMDS retimer, supporting DVI 1.0 and HDMI 1.4b/2.0b outputs. It supports dual-mode standard version 1.1, type 1 and 2 via DDC link or AUX channel. With a data rate up to 6-Gbps per lane, it enables Ultra HD (4K 2K / 60-Hz) 8-bit color video and HDTV with 16-bit color depth at 1080p. The device automatically configures as a re-driver at <1 Gbps or retimer at higher rates, with this feature controllable via I2C programming.
