Cramp Bark (Viburnum Opulus) is a shrub 1.5-3 m tall with a brownish-grayish, fissured bark. Cramp Bark has opposite, rounded three-five-lobed leaves in outline, dark green above, glabrous, wrinkled, lighter underneath, slightly pubescent along veins. Flowers are collected in complexly arranged inflorescences such as a flat shield. Median flowers are yellowish-white, small, and bell-shaped with normally developed stamens and pestles. The fruits are bright red drupes. It blooms in May-June; the fruits ripen in August-September.
