Detecto's Portable Wheechair Scale are a perfect option for flexibility in weighing patients of varying degrees of ableness. With 2-way easy access ramps and a black rubber mat for traction, patients in wheelchairs can easily be moved on and off of the scale for the weighing process. This scale also has a column that can be used for patient stability. When changing locations, the integral wheels and vertical fold-up feature make it easy to move this unit to the desired spot. By folding vertically, it also saves floor space when storing the scale for later use. This model uses the MedVue indicator, which has an LCD display. This indicator has zeroing, lock/release, net/gross, tare, ID/height, and BMI calculation capabilities. It has RS232 connectivity so you can connect it to a printer or to a computer for data collection. This scale can be powered by 6 C batteries (not included) or an AC Adapter (not included).
