Fervid insecticide miticide provides knockdown of mites and leafminers and suppression of aphids, thrips, and whiteflies. Containing the active ingredient abamectin insecticide, Fervid is a standard for broad-spectrum control and is approved for use in field-grown woody ornamentals, landscape plants, Christmas trees, and more. The liquid formulation is virtually odorless, easy to apply, and leaves no visible residue. The effectiveness of Fervid’s translaminar activity is traced through the entire leaf, leaving a reservoir of long-lasting protection behind. Once applied, Fervid resides on the underside of the leaf between leaf epidermises where mites and leafminers feed. Fervid is effective against immatures and adults, best when applied before foliage hardens off. Controls mites including spider mites, red mites, rust and bud mites.
