Aluminum Certified Reference Material for Single Element Zinc in 7072 Alloy, ZN-6

Arconic Spectrochemical Reference Materials, located at the Arconic Technology Center near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania has been producing certified reference materials (CRMs) and reference materials (RMs) for the aluminum industry for more than 70 years. Our CRMs are widely recognized for their uniformity and accuracy of certification. Arconic CRMs and RMs are typically used for calibration, drift correction, quality assurance, and method validation for Spark-AES instrumentation used by the aluminum industry to verify the composition of aluminum and aluminum alloys. We maintain a large inventory of CRMs and RMs consisting of more than 300 alloy compositions targeted to meet the needs of the aluminum industry. Arconic Spectrochemical Reference Materials holds accreditations for the following ISO standards: Guide 34:2009, 17025:2005, and 9001:2008. Arconic produces single element CRMs with varied levels of individual elements in unalloyed aluminum and various alloy matrices such as high silicon. The single element CRMs are available in a series for each element with various concentrations. They are useful when extending existing calibration curves as well as making adjustments to curves when alloy specific SS CRMs are not adequate. Single element CRMs are designated with a two-letter identifier that corresponds with the chemical abbreviation for the element added.
